Educational Objectives
The Department of Able Independence aims to cultivate individuals capable of leading successful, autonomous lives as confident members of society. Our objective is to achieve this through education in lifestyle, health, and rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, in alignment with the overarching educational objectives of the university.
Educational Policies
- Implementation of field visits to enhance proficiency in specialized duties within the field
- Delivery of customized education programs for students with developmental disabilities
- Maximization of individual employability among incoming students
- Active engagement of faculty and incoming students in community service initiatives
- Development of diverse adaptation programs to facilitate active participation of students in both the local community and within the academic institution

Departmental Characteristics
The Department of Able Independence focuses on educating individuals with developmental disabilities in independent living, vocational skills, and psychological and developmental aspects, thereby enabling them to lead lives as independent and confident members of society, in pursuit of lifelong independence and empowerment.
