Educational Purpose
Renewable energy is the future of our nation's energy, it is a leading central technology that leads the key industries which constitute our nation's future growth engine, and it has lead the diversification and specialization of the digital information age and today's modern industries. Electric energy is a necessity as long as humanity exists and the "green growth" pursued by the entire world can guarantee the nation's future, making it an opportunity and a challenge for all industries related to electricity and power.Therefore, the renewable energy industry is a large market for employment and its future is even brighter than today. Also, because there is a severe lack of power technicians capable of the design, construction and maintenance in the areas of new renewable energy (solar, wind, fuel cells, etc.), power, automation and control systems, engineering and construction, and electric energy equipment as well as the maintenance and safety control of power facilities required by the industry, by studying the theoretical aspects and gaining field experience students have the opportunity to enter into any area of industries requiring electric energy related technology, giving our department more flexibility in employment choices than any other.
Our goal is to train technical experts equipped with field experience who can take a leading role in various automation equipment and electric energy industries based on the most highly commercialized new renewable energies such as solar and wind power. We aim to foster experienced power technicians who research on their own and can lead the renewable energy of the future through challenge, creativity, and innovation as expert technicians equipped with specialized knowledge based on systematic field experience to lead the diversification and specialization of the information age and modern industries as well as technical ability and productivity.
